Hmm.

Not that I expect anyone to be reading this. But I was wondering what kind of art the people who may peek in here from time to time are interested in? Artists? Do you read comics? Do you maybe buy books to read based on cover art alone? Can you find yourself staring at something for hours trying to figure out why you find it so beautiful?

I lost my train of thought.....

Apparently starting to talk about beauty and art has led me all the way through a long conversation ending in how much I wish the show Firefly was still on the air.

Tools.

I think one day someone is likely to ask what I use to draw with.
I use a Wacom Graphire Tablet and Photoshop CS4.
And good old lefty. Being Left handed and all.


I tend to sketch out the art in 3point and then cover with 5point 
color is my weakness and I am learning to blend and shade better each day.
I like to use filters and textures but I am too lazy to remember how to handle them so instead of looking it up each time I just don't use them.

I was thinking maybe someone might notice the name vega scratched on most of the art posted here.

I do alot of my art on a website called gaiaonline. The avatars are just perfect for practicing so I don't end up drawing the same things over and over.

On the website I use the name Korbin de la Vega, so I sign most of the stuff KVega or just Vega so people will know where to find me there if they like what I do.

And I know someone will ask... Yes Korbin is from the 5th Element. and De la Vega is from Zorro. I am a geek. I am proud of it.

And yes Korbin de la Vega is a Vampirate.
